today is my parent's (mom & stepdad) sixteenth wedding anniversary. hard to believe it's been sixteen years, but it also feels like they've been together forever. weird!

i was twelve, my step brother luke was eleven, and little j baby was a young & mischievous five years old. check out the little ham during the ceremony...haha!

my mom wore a jessica mcclintock gown and i wore a dress that my "second mother" & former babysitter, sharon, made. i picked out the pattern & the color. peach? really?!? haha. i also remember this was the first time i ever really wore high heels & was scared i'd trip - both my brother & i walked my mom down the aisle.

i feel so very lucky & blessed to have such a wonderful example of a loving, respectful, and fun relationship in my life. i love you guys! i'm glad you decided to get hitched , all those many years ago! xoxo

the graduate.

my baby brother graduated this past friday - that means no kids in college anymore for my parents! w00t! i bet they are very excited about that. well, until i decide to go back to grad school or law school or something. heh. higher learning 4-evaaaaaah!

my mom is a dean at the college my brother went to, so she got to give him his diploma. pretty cool, huh? j had no idea she was going to do that - and then my mom cried and my brother was probably embarassed and crap i can't believe i missed such a precious moment. meeemooooriiiiiies!
