seriously?!? wtf.

woxy.com, one of my favorite internet radio stations (along with bagel radio, of course) will terminate its broadcasting on september 15th - unless someone with alot of cash money decides that investing in an indie rock bastion of awesomeness is a good idea. i am seriously on the verge of tears right now. and not because i will cry at almost anything.

i probably listen to woxy on a daily basis - and i've discovered alot of bands/artists because of it. they play the coolest stuff on the planet and have also done some fantastic lounge acts with some great bands (like birdmonster!). you can tell that the djs are just awesome regular peeps who love to geek out on music. i honestly feel like i'm losing a friend! holding. back. the. tears.

i have to agree with the station's letter to its listeners opening line - this sucks.
