rocktoberfest!

first and foremost let me just say this - my friends rock.

friday night was my 1st annual rocktoberfest party (oh yes, there will be more) and it was a funtastically ridonkulous. people actually dressed up and rocked out and a good time was had by all. i think. no one told me that they had the worst time ever, so i'm guessing that it was good times all around.

i was my 80's idol of badassitude - pat benatar! love is a battlefield yo! haha. special guest appearances were made by: madonna, jem (of jem & the holograms), barbara mandrell, pj harvey, fall out boy, slash, danzig, the white stripes, karen o, bono/johnny cash, elvis costello, jenny lewis, the clash, david bowie, and many many more!

we danced and partied all night long - and drank some cherry wine. or beer. whatever, details schmetails! preliminary photos of the night are here - with more to come. i believe there was some video taken as well...and will supress the inevitably embarassing evidence for as long as humanly possible!

shout out to all my peeps that dressed up and even to those who didn't - most funnest party i've had EVER! you all put the rock in rocktober. awwwww yeah.
