the theory of (marietta) relativity.

this post has nothing to do with the theory of relativity. but it DOES have to do with the fact that marietta, ohio is a blackhole from which it's citizens will never escape. no matter where they move, there will ALWAYS be other mariettans just around the corner (literally).

a few months ago my friend jessica informed me that our friend meera, who had been in the peace corps for the past couple of years, had moved to san francisco. i wondered where she lived in the city and found out that she lives FOUR BLOCKS AWAY from me! wtf? how does that even happen?

so, saturday night, i gussied (yes, gussied) myself up and made my way to meera's house, braving the ginormous hill that is nob to get there in 3 inch heels. hey, i had to look cute! beauty is pain. haha. it was a socialite party afterall...

marietta connection in full effect.
most of the people at the party could not get over the fact that meera, eric, kristin, & i all went to not only high school together, but middle school, and even elementary school (eric & i). it is kind of crazy when you think about it, because marighetto is so freakin' tiny! what can i say, we mid-ohio valley kids have wanderlust!

in another strange turn of events, i found out that meera is dating my friend AJ's brother ian - hello! so weird. san francisco isn't THAT small for jebsus' sake!!!
