when, upon initially meeting someone, you're initial reaction is "this person is a d#ck" trust your instinct despite any sliver of evidence to the contrary. because most likely they ARE a d#ck. just sayin'.

i used to think that i had poor judgement but actually the opposite is true - more often than not, my first impression of someone is accurate. i just tend to give them the benefit of the doubt and look for the good things in them, thus ignoring that split second "oh no no no - this is bad" feeling. this is because i am an eternal optimist and romantic. "i can seeeee the good in you, BE GOOD! c'mon, do it FOR ME! prove me wrong...dooooo it!"

i don't mind that i'm like this necessarily, because it's who i am and things could be alot worse. i'd rather be foolish than jaded...at least for now. heh.
