some stuff. and things.
so, i realized that i never posted about josh's show @ the fillmore! and that was like, two weeks ago. crap.
so, to recap, it was AWESOME. and it was so great to finally get to meet josh & the rest of the band, and myk (tour manager), in person. the whole night was fantabulorific & josh is so freakin' great live (and i'm not saying that b/c he pays me!) & i got to hang out backstage and eat potato chips & cheese & drink free anchor steam (score!) & watch the frames from the little VIP balcony area of the fillmore - and of course my show-ho ms. willo was there with me, rockin' out - and after the show we all headed to the lone palm in the mission for more drinking & fun-having & it was a blast. ah, good times. willo took some fun photos of the night too - although she was more of a 24 hour party person than myself...
and then the next morning mila (wife of darius, my bossman) organized a little breakfast/brunch celebration at our office & that was fun too. even though maybe slightly too early for the day after a show. and then i took a nap. :)
let's see, what else? well, i went to the national/clap your hands say yeah/birdmonster show right smack dab in the middle of my illness. hey, i cannot let a good ticket go to waste!!! birdmonster were awesometastic, as always. and cute, of course. oh, and after their set zachalicious threw his drum sticks into the audience and willo's friend dan caught one - and so very graciously gave it to miss w - superfan that she is! clap your hands was great as well, but the good stuff was definitely the national - so many people left after the CYHSY set and they are big stupid idiots. seriously, if you left that show early, you are dumb. go buy their new record b/c they RAWK!
this past wednesday willo & i continued our show-stalking of scissors for lefty at the playing in fog show at bottom of the hill - and we think that maybe the boys in the band are scared of us b/c we've now been to three shows in the past two months and maybe that's kinda weird. but we love them! they are fabulous! we like to dance! so sue us.
