that's just how i roll.

blocpartystellastarr*scissorsforleftyseujorgenewpornographersbirdmonster!

yes dudes, those are ALL of the shows that i've been to in the past week - september has indeed been a good month!!!

in an attempt at brevity, i will try to review each show in but one, very important sentence. pay close attention...

bloc party/the kills - the girl singer from the kills is hottt but in a scary kind of way - like she'd kick your ass...they put on a good show but it kinda lost momentum near the end; bloc party rocked my socks & were in a word, phenomenal.

stellarstarr*/every move a picture/habitforming - i tried to like habitforming, but they were too noncommital (sorry!); every move a picture was great & i was psyched to check them out after hearing good things about them, they put on a nice, solid show; stellastarr* were good, but nothing too spectacular - they had a tough show to live up to from the night before though, so that might've been the problem!

p.s. i was also a wee bit on the wrong side of tipsy at this show, which i usually don't do - blame in on kristin b. neinhuis! hee. hee.

scissors for lefty -
ahhhhh, willo, kristin, & i got to this show right as they were playing their last song - we are very poor show-stalkers!

seu jorge - i found out how to pronounce his name & danced my arse off to hottt brazilian beats, his percussionists were freakin' sweeeeet & i was sweaty. nice.

the new pornographers/destroyer/immaculate machine - immaculate machine were cute - and i mean that in a way that describes their sound (wholesome, maybe?), destroyer were great & i'm glad willo made me go up to the front to check them out - new pornographers were fantastirawkcular and neko case is officially my idol.

birdmonster/serene lakes/catholic comb - birdmonster are awesome and i love them. the end.

blah blah blah... how was Josh's Show?!
I played his CDs at the exact moment I felt he was playing in SF (i'm psychic like that) and the show was amazing on the East Side. (Although no one dance, which was kinda bumb.)
