so, this may sound slightly bitchy - but sometimes boys are dumb.

i know that we are not supposed to "play games" because that is evil & only evil girls still play games. and i'm not a game-player, per se. but there is a certain code of conduct, if you will, that both parties should follow upon first meeting & inciting possible interest.

i'm talking about dating here, people.

i am not speaking for all females, just myself. and i have a weird, eff'd up way of liking boys (and a way of liking weird, eff'd up boys too - so what does that say about me? haha.). but when i tell you that i will call you when i have some free time, b/c maybe, let's say perhaps i am reeeeally busy this week & honestly don't have time to go out, please believe me. i am not playing games. i am seriously busy. please don't try to squeeze in a date or call me first before i even have a chance to think about calling you. i am not ignorning you - like i said - i'm just busy! i have two jobs. i have four shows this week. i am often tired & not fun to be around when i'm not at work or a show, let alone fun to take on a date.

i have this thing where if i'm on the fence about interest in someone - and they are overzealous in their pursuit of me - i'm over it. i know that sounds totally bitchy, but boys - you have to be cool. girls only like boys with skills. bow-hunting skills. nunchuck skills. knowing when to sit back & play it cool when a girl tells you that she will call you when she is available skills. y'know. SKILLS.
