in honour (yes, english spelling, if you please) of my first trip to tahoe, i've compiled a mixtape,..er, cd. i'm still calling it a mixtape even though it's on disc. work with me here!
this is no ordinary mix, my friends. this is a mix made up soley of songs that i would've listened to as a 15 yr old. you laugh now, but you know you love(d) these songs too! c'mon, there ain't no shame!

i have to say...that was an incredibly kick-ass mix. my throatal chords are sore from belting out those tunes.
kb - you KNOW that i was thinking about driving around the backroads of marighetto in your big blue car, singing along to 311 and liz phair (and definitely NOT doing any sort of illegal activities! tee, hee!) when i compiled this list...ah, good times.
Awe, still my favorite car to drive. All clunky and fast off the blocks. What could be better than a granny car with tons of power!
i love how thursday's oc covered some major ground in the 15yr old mix arena. boyzIImen, blindmelon, etc. also love how i sat my mom down tonight to explain the significance of "the valley" in "the oc". ha.
also, loved how seth cohen mocked 'laguna beach', in a not-so-subtle way, by ripping on the 'reality show' based on 'the valley'.
god help me, i still love watching the antics of 'the real life OC'. ;)
