i'm a dummy. part one.

so i locked myself out of my apartment this morning. with wet hair. and i had to be in san jose for work at noon. it was 9:45 am. partly cloudy with a chance of showers. i hadn't had my coffee yet. niiiiiiiiiiiice.

i neglected to unlock the bottom door lock as i stepped out this morn' and alas, couldn't turn the flippin' doorknob to get back in...because the door was LOCKED. duh, ali. and my upstairs neighbors weren't home, so in desperation, i scurried across the street and did an impromptu introduction that went something like this: "hi, i'm ali, your new neighbor and i just locked myself out!" having never met my neighbor until today, he was still kind enough to overlook my disheveled appearance and panic-stricken face and let me use his phone to call a locksmith. score! a mere 15 mins later the locksmith arrived, and in 30 seconds picked my lock (no, that is not a euphemism!) and i was suddenly $65 poorer. or more poor. whatevs, i'm still broke!

i swear you couldn't write this stuff. my life is a sitcom.

Emergency locksmiths are playing very important role. I locked myself out of my apartment. And I called to locksmith company. They said that locksmith will come in 30-40 minutes. He came and opened my door in 10 minutes. So, the locksmith was very handy for me in this tight situation. Another case, my sister locked her 2 year old son in the car at church. Luckily the locksmith company office is right next door.
