i got me a love monkey.

yes, love monkey has been rescued from the vast wasteland of awesome shows that were cancelled before their time because people who watch tv are dumb and would rather tune in to see some hick imitate the act of singing instead of watching thought-provoking, heartwarming, and/or smart-funny shows (freaks & geeks? my so-called life? the state? sports night?) that are actually entertaining and fabulous and do not require you to text *111 to vote for your favorite character at the end of the show. wait, what was i talking about? oh yeah, LOVE MONKEY!!!

anyway, i loves me some love monkey. yes, it's a bit tedious at times (i don't care about tom's sister & jason priestly's baby, sorry!), but i have a serious jones for tom "ed" cavanagh and will watch pretty much anything he is in. plus, this show is about MUSIC and we all know that i also have a much more serious jones for that. on tuesday's episode, tom/ed/tom (his name is tom on the show too - how convenient!) name-dropped architecture in helsinki AND my own personal rock goddess aimee mann made a special guest appearance! i love this show.

however, i have at least one complaint. if tom/tom is an A&R rep with supposedly good taste in music, then why does he date girls that are in bad bands? a real music snob would never date someone who was in a crappy band. unless maybe a male music snob would, if the girl in the band was hoTTT. maybe? i guess it's possible. boys are dumb.

anyway, i want tom to date a hot indie rock girl! c'mon tom - do it for us!!!
